Booth Brand & Company operates as both an independent press and a creative studio.

Our publications are developed through a curated editorial process, while our studio offers optional services for writers seeking professional support in editing, design, and publication.

Booth Brand & Company operates as an independent hybrid press, providing authors with professional publishing services, creative guidance, and publishing support throughout the book development process.

Helping Authors Bring Books to Life.

Publishing Experience

Booth Brand & Company LLC is an independent hybrid press founded by author, publisher, and creative entrepreneur Virginia Booth.

Through Booth Brand & Company, Virginia has independently published four books, gaining firsthand experience in every stage of the publishing journey—from manuscript development and editing to cover design, production, distribution, and author promotion.

This experience shapes the support we offer fellow authors. We understand the challenges and opportunities of publishing because we have successfully navigated the process ourselves.

In addition to book publishing, Booth Brand & Company is the home of Soulo Magazine, a digital publication that has received more than 76,000 readers and continues to connect readers, writers, and creatives through meaningful content and storytelling.

Our publishing services include:

• ISBN assignment through our publishing imprint

• Manuscript review and editing

• Professional book cover design

• Interior formatting for print and ebook editions

• Publishing consultation and production support

• Light marketing guidance and launch planning

• Creative mentorship throughout the publishing process

As a hybrid press, we combine professional publishing services with a collaborative, author-centered approach. We believe writers deserve both creative freedom and experienced guidance as they bring their work into the world.

Whether you're publishing your first manuscript or expanding your body of work, Booth Brand & Company provides a thoughtful path from idea to published book.

Editorial & Production Services

Press

The Booth Brand & Company works with a limited number of writers each year through a curated editorial process.

We are not a volume press.
We are a selective, collaborative studio devoted to developing work that is intentional, resonant, and enduring.

Each project begins with a review.

We consider voice, vision, and alignment with our evolving catalog. Not all submissions are accepted, and we only take on work we believe in—work we are willing to shape, support, and stand behind.

❋ Editorial Review

Writers may submit their work for consideration through a paid editorial review.

This initial step allows us to engage your manuscript with care—evaluating its potential, direction, and fit within The Booth Brand.

If your project is selected, we invite you into a deeper collaboration.

❋ Working Together

Accepted projects move into one of the following levels of support:

Essentials
Foundational editorial and production support for writers ready to bring a manuscript into finished form.

Author Package
Expanded editorial development, design, and structural refinement for writers seeking a more guided process.

Press Feature
A full press collaboration, including editorial, design, and promotional support, as well as placement within our broader platform.

Each tier reflects a different depth of engagement, but all are approached with the same level of care, discretion, and creative respect.

❋ Our Approach

We do not separate craft from experience.

Our work is both editorial and intuitive—focused not only on what is written, but on what is being said beneath the surface.

We are drawn to:

  • work with emotional and narrative depth

  • voices that resist simplification

  • stories that linger beyond the page

❋ Additional Notes

Our model allows us to dedicate time, attention, and resources to each project we take on. For this reason, all accepted works are developed through paid editorial and production support.

In the years following formal study and immersion in the literary world, one truth became clear:
there are far more writers than there are doors.

Again and again, we encountered people carrying powerful, necessary work—writers seeking not recognition alone, but a place for their stories to exist, to be shaped, and to be held with care.

The Booth Brand & Company was built, in part, for them.

For those without direct access to traditional literary spaces.
For those working outside of institutions, networks, or industry pathways.
For those who have something to say—and nowhere to place it.

We believe storytelling should not be gatekept by proximity or privilege.

Every writer deserves the opportunity to see their work realized—
to hold it, to share it, and to be heard.
